Hammer LGC, Inc. was originally founded as “George S. Hammer, General Contractor” and incorporated in its present configuration in the fall of 1998. George (Sandy) Hammer’s vision was to create a company that follows the maxim, “there is nothing that cannot be accomplished with the right attitude, the right people, and the right tools.”
Sandy is personally involved in all segments of the company’s business to ensure the firm’s mission and the delivery of high quality work and client satisfaction is accomplished on each project. Under his leadership these goals are realized through partnerships, teamwork, planning, training, communication, attention to detail and embracing the belief customers and clients’ satisfaction are the most important aspect of the job.
Hammer’s corporate resume encompasses projects completed for national, regional, local, state, and federal agencies as well as private commercial development. Significant awards include projects for the Department of Defense, Department of Veterans Affairs, General Services Administration, National Institute of Health, National Park Service, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Department of the Interior, Department of Homeland Security, Federal Aviation Administration and many others.
